We often play games with Zorie in English. That way, she can learn what she really needs in her life. Yesterday, she pretended she saw a woman hit by a car and needed help...(well...the story was made up by Zorie), and Zorie had to help the woman call the hospital because the woman needed an ambulance. Due to the story, she asked me how to say "car accident" and "ambulance" in English so that she could make the phone call. That's a natural way for her to learn English.

Iβve been a bit busy recently, but I always make sure I have time to help save our planet. All around the worldπ there have been marches and strikes and itβs essential everyone exercises their democratic right to protest so we can make a difference.
But in order to do this, you have to have great time managementβ. One way I managed to free up some space to attend this protest was by using a clock face day planner. This super simple tool is just a couple of clock faces which represent - obviously - 2οΈβ£4οΈβ£ hours of the dayπ. Then you shade in the parts of the clock face, each ot which represents a different task you have for that day. Itβs a neat tool and helps you figure out how long you can spend on each task and at what time you need to start it. The clock face planner is a perfect way for you as a student to manage your time, and ensures you also have the opportunity to take part in fun marches like this!π

Wondering what I am doing with all these mice?
With the start of uni semester looming, itβs perfect time to get preparing. Itβs nerve-racking I know. Remember Iβve been there too!
There is one thing though I slightly regret not doing at bachelorβs, which I would recommend to you guys, is doing some extra-curricular stuff to boost your CV while you are studying. If possible β itβs no walk in the park - this will give you a huge head start once you eventually graduate and enter the dreaded world of work! πΌ
Media and tech, is one area that you could look into, if, of course, youβre that way inclined! With students' union television societies, music clubs and newspapers abounding on campus, there will be plenty of opportunities for you to get a glimpse at how these industries really work, just on a slightly smaller scale. You could get involved in: editing videos π₯, producing audio π§, or maybe even writing for a university paper π°. Any of these would be an invaluable experience and probably loads of fun too!
For you guys and girls starting this semester what are you plans? Which societies and activities are you planning on getting involved with?
i have been getting so frustrated with my camera. i've had it for over 2 months and it's a lot i still don't get. so i decided to bury my face in some books. hopefully i can nail the focus after a bit more practicing & crap.
After 2 years of hiatus from studying, I now mug like never before during a mid-term assessment next week. It's not about passing it; it's about the elusive 'A'.
