The light in the Tate turbine hall was amazing, considering how little light there is. And a bloke sitting near me had taken off his shoes. Such beyoootiful shoes! I asked his permission and took this shot. Now I want a pair...
I think this is my last shot from Tuesday at the Tate. *sigh*
Mosman Library holds an extensive, but incomplete, set of the Mosman Daily dating from 1917. The library recently received a donation of a bound volume of The (Mosman) Daily from January to June 1923. This volume has now been microfilmed as a means of preserving the original paper and allowing people to read the microfilmed copy.
Another view of the study at the Charles Dickens Museum – the author's former home at 48 Doughty Street in London.
A few details about the study, as listed in the museum's guide book:
Dickens' working day followed a strict routine. His writing time was between breakfast and lunch and there were no distractions that could pull him from his writing. 'His mind was essentially methodical and in his labour he was governed by rules laid down by himself and rarely departed from,' wrote one of his friends. After lunch Dickens might spend time at his club, look after his charitable projects or go for a long walk. The author drew much inspiration from exploring his surroundings and meeting people, so even when he was not at his writing desk his mind was creating new plots and characters.
A visitor to this room during Dickens' time here remarked on the author's vast collection of books. Today, the book cases are filled with early editions of Dickens' works and books owned by Dickens. These form part of the National Dickens Library which is held here at the museum.
My study table is an Ikea Vika table top with legs from a Lack table. I use two lamps at night to get some nice lighting. The table is the perfect height to sit on the futon (on the to the top of the picture) or even lay down while pen computing. I made this set up so that its very relaxed. On the lower right hand corner is another Ikea futon bed that I use as a bed.

I found this at one of my friends place. I am sure he was studying very hard and probably learning something very quick. I wish he had something written on the easel too :).
Doing some eye studies! Been focusing a lot on simplifying eyes for my custom doll painting needs. 2H, 4H, and #2 Mech.
sooc. In subway. This is what many kids in China include in their summer vacations. What do you think this holds for the future of China and your country?

This is my multiplicity project. I took pictures of my sister studying on the couch, and used layer masks to edit all six pictures of her into one so it looks like there are six of her on the couch.
