49/52 - 52 Weeks of 2014. "Close Up Portrait."
As I'm not good with asking people to pose for portraits, and I really suck at taking portraits, I decided to sit down in front of the camera for this one. A bit difficult to nail with wide open aperature. Thought a bit of a high key look would work for this. While not a true high key, I thought it kind of worked here in b&w.

Hey guys, I don't use flickr very often but i'm determined to start using it to hopefully upload new work as often as I can.
I have so much new work that I constantly produce and it's just sat locked up in my computer but recent i'v had sudden urges of motivation thats kind of sparked this off. I feel like I have grown as a photographer over the last year where now I feel confident enough in my own ability to show off my work and take any negative comments as now constructive critisism which i was unable to do before.
Thank you to anyone who supports me, it's so hard to become a respected photographer so any comments help and i appreciate them all.
Overall, this image basically sums up my past year, its been a hard one i'm not going to lie. But now i'v grown up a little bit its time to move on with my life and not just sit round moping all the time but to actually go out and explore.
Start fresh.
