The lighting was done with 4 Nikon SB800 Speedlights triggered with a Nikon SU800, as follows: 1) camera left, modified with an umbrella, 2) camera right, modified with an umbrella, 3) behind and above, aimed at the cat, modified with a snoot, 4) behind and aimed at the background, modified with a snoot.

Lately I have been working a lot on hard and warm lights and chiaroscuro. Lure fishing photography goes only on one direction, nobody really spends time trying to make something different, too little money involved to waste hours in the studio. Thus, I care about what I do and I love to photograph these lifeless plastics and I'm always trying to find out something different. In this case I decided to put my SB800 on the right place to light the lure and a SB700 in the frame, doing the rest of the work.

Like it? Don't? I do, and I have more of these and will be doing a further study on the subject :-)
