Strobist info : 2 speedlights in TTL mode on the right side of the camera, at 80 and 40 degres of the models to fill the shadows. The sun was here for the rim (litlle) light.
Post-processing : Mainly in Lightroom then in Photoshop : mainly frequency sepration to improve the shadows on the faces and to soften a little the skin (really a little).

Theme: High-key portrait

I seem to have taken more self-portraits in the last 9months due to the 52 weeks challenges. But it's not because I'm vain or love being in front of the camera, it's more a case of not having other models available at the time when I need to do the shot (although I have had my wife and kids as models a couple of times).
Anyway, here's my shot for the week, a simple white sheet as a back drop with two lights on it, then a single flash in a brolly to camera right. to light me.
I've realised through doing all these self-portraits, I'm not very good at expressions or posing, but after about 30-40 shots, I was quite pleased with this one.
Explored on 5th Sept 2015 @ no 303.

I wanted for a long time to make a shot in a wheat field. I proposed it to my familiy and well, we had to find a good spot to make it quietly. I had no octobox or umbrella for the light and no more AD600 from Godox. Therefore, I did it with the bare speedlights.
