Some new work with a new face (and a new lens!).
Abi and I connected on Instagram and scheduled a photoshoot for yesterday. Abi brought a number of great looks and was a pleasure to work with. This was our first shoot together but we're already planning for a second.
This was also my first photoshoot with my new 24-120 f/4 S Z mount lens. I've been using a prime 50 f/1.4 on my Z6ii for a while now and it's nice to be able to adjust my focal length without moving my feet. I'm not sure if the new lens has the character/look to take over every shoot, but hard to beat it in a studio environment. Looking forward to testing it more in the future.

Vanaf 1 januari 2016 is DBS de vervoerder voor dolimetreinen 47615/6 Fvs - Vdm en zal de afwisseling in trekkracht verdwijnen.
Combi's of solo's met 4401/2, 653-05, PB06, G2000 etc. zullen niet meer voorkomen, het is dan DBS rood wat regeert.
Op 7 september jongstleden trok de ongewone combi 4402 met 1102 (G2000) de 47615 over het binnenspoor te Htnc, na enige minuten wachten tbv inhalen IC vertrok het gespan verder zuidwaarts.
Het gebruik van binnenspoor Ut - Htnc door goederentreinen zal per december 2016 beperkt mogelijk zijn, in het kader van DSSU zullen goederentreinen normaal alleen van de buitensporen gebruik kunnen maken.

Former nightclub in Calton Road, Edinburgh operating from 1995 - 2017. Prior to that the venue was named The Calton Studios a cinema and club. The site has now (2020) been redeveloped for residential use.

It was the HOTTEST DAYS in YEARS HERE, stifling, help, I am the NORTHERN type... NOT made for this!
Nor are most of the flowers in the garden.
Now these Teddy-Bear Sunflowers, of course they LOVE it!
Heliotropism is sun tracking... flowers that follow the sun the whole day.

shot at a starbucks near sevilla metro station on calle alcalá, madrid. we grabbed a seat at a high table by the front window â nothing fancy, just a coffee stop. but the large, semi-frosted glass turned out to be a hidden lightbox. soft, even light poured in from the side, wrapping the subject in this clean, natural glow. no reflectors, no strobes â just the right place at the right time. a portrait that looks like a studio setup, born in the middle of a café.
Apart from being wonderfully photogenic, Peter's a pastry chef. He's an Australian of Portuguese-Malaysian background. It was just one of those sessions where everything seemed to work. I love how calm/strong/composed he looks, which was how Peter came across in person. Picture taken at my studio in Footscray.
