The Lower Columbia College Foundation honored scholarship donors and student recipients at the annual Scholarship Social on October 25, 2018. The event was held on campus at The Rose Center for the Arts.

 

Guest speakers included Max Anderson, scholarship donor and former LCC Board of Trustees member, LCC nursing student -Mackenzie Taylor, and machining student - Steven Boyes.

 

Heidi Heywood received special recognition for serving on the LCC Board of Trustees from 2008-2018. President Bailey along with Bob Gregory, Max Anderson and Alice Dietz presented Heidi with a plaque as a token of their appreciation.

 

Foundation scholarships are key to unlocking the opportunity for many students to pursue a college degree.

 

The Foundation is grateful for the important contributions of our community of donors, faculty, and staff in improving the quality of life and place through education.

Austin Community College Fall 2017 Commencement ceremonies on Thursday, December 14, 2017 at the Frank Erwin Center.

The LCC Foundation hosted the annual Lifetime Donor Reception on Monday, March 18, in the Forsberg Art Gallery, in the beautiful Rose Center for the Arts at Lower Columbia College.

 

Speakers Included: Chris Bailey, President of Lower Columbia College,

Kendra Sprague, Vice President, LCC Foundation

Rich Gushman, Chairman, LCC Foundation Board of Directors and Moira Hammerburg, LCC Student.

 

Moira shared her college success story and how LCC helped her believe in herself and that she could do it!

She is the first person in her family to earn a college degree. After graduating from LCC, Moira plans to further her education through Grand Canyon University where she is planning to pursue a degree in education.

Atlantic Cape Community College awarded 964 associate in arts, associate in science and associate in applied science degrees at the school’s 48th commencement, Thursday, May 21.
