On Aug. 16, cafeterias and staff were recognized for safety and individual members of the Student Nutrition department were recognized for perfect attendance. After the awards were received, attendees participated in training to prepare further for the beginning of a new school year.

Salad bars like this have already been introduced into 18 schools. Hopefully they will appear in another 12 schools if the Prop H CAC chooses to allocate Prop H money towards this proposal.
