The M3A1 Stuart is one of the most iconic American light tanks of World War II, renowned for its speed and agility in reconnaissance roles. Often simply called the “Stuart” (a nickname officially assigned by British forces after the Confederate General J.E.B. Stuart), the tank was produced in large numbers and saw service in multiple theaters—from the deserts of North Africa to the jungles of the Pacific
Stuart Ablett was nice enough to give me some alone time with his woodworking!

Off the Stuart Highway, just past the Stuart Memorial. The real tree was Fraser's "possibly worst tourist attraction ever".
Stuart has for many years been working on this creation. Connecting his constructions with the amazing features of this challenging site... Huge rocks, steep inclines, Stuart leads the eye to the beauty all around. I had a ball taking photos as I explored the site (again)
