Now back in South Central Nebraska... We were about to experience the strongest outflow boundary of the year. 110-120 mph winds were accompanied by this super strong beast. Tons of cloud to cloud lightning and beautiful arcus shelf cloud structure was beautiful view as she approached from the southwest.

Now moving almost directly due east we had to jimmy south to Alma Nebraska from Hwy 89 to get back in front of this monster. Believe it or not, the calm before the storm was evident here. No wind until the shelf came over our heads and then we got hit hard. Luckily we had gear already prepped and put away as headed north as soon as this hit our location.

Though you know me... I waited till the very last second to get these captures!

The art of structuring a photographic image lies in the thoughtful arrangement of elements within the frame to create a harmonious and engaging picture.

I think this was part of Structure 38...a residential complex dating to around 600AD.

Though these may simply detract from the scenery, I actually find the fascinating with all their angles and shapes.

I've been in the succulent greenhouse. It's not very exciting there, cacti and all that. But when I saw this plant through the branches, I had to make a pictures.

Antiche strutture.

The structure was built in 1910 as soldiers' quarters for the men of the Royal Artillery who manned the Central and West Batteries. On the night of 18 December 1941, Japanese troops successfully crossed the Lei Yue Mun Channel from Devil's Peak and were engaged in fierce fighting with the defenders in this building. After stubborn resistance, the defenders, overwhelmed by superior numbers and firepower, were forced to retreat.

Trebnitz was first documented in 1224. In April 1432 Trebnitz was destroyed by plundering Hussites, during the Thirty Years' War Trebnitz was destroyed several times and rebuilt each time.

Towards the end of the Second World War, Trebnitz was largely destroyed during the offensive on Berlin in April 1945 by the advancing Red Army and later rebuilt.

Today, Trebnitz Manor Park extends over about 27 hectares and goes back to the plant lover Georg Friedrich von Ziethen, who was landlord in Trebnitz from 1707. By 1736, the park already had almost all the garden plants cultivated in Central Europe at that time, as well as some rare plants that had been introduced - a total of 3025 families, including such exotic plants as the tulip tree or the giant honey flower from South Africa. This great variety of species made the park famous beyond the borders of the Brandenburg at that time. At the beginning of the 18th century, the park was laid out in the Baroque style with strict geometric forms, but after the emergence of English landscape gardens in the 19th century, it was redesigned into an openly structured park with individual lines of sight. For a long time, the former splendour could only be guessed at - but since 2011, the "Park Heroes", a group of committed citizens, have been striving for the revival of the historically significant landscape park in accordance with the regulations for a listed garden. The aim is to make it accessible as an open place for local recreation, with a nature trail and opportunities for sports and cultural activities, as well as an international meeting place due to its proximity to the educational institution of Trebnitz Manor.

I don't know, somehow I found the contrast intriguing.

The young man from Punjab stood waiting on the side of a makeshift structure of railings and wooden boards, ostensibly a performance deck of a stage. This is in Goa where a festival of sorts was going on with representation from various states of India at the Kala Akademy in Panjim.

The man bedecked in yellow had a presence of pleasantness all around him and not only in his smile and twinkling eyes. There is that palpable sense of goodness that radiates from certain human beings and this young man was doling out oodles of it.
