These exposures in Dinosaur National Monument, Utah consist of structurally tilted, Jurassic-aged sedimentary rocks. The rocks in the middle and top are part of the Glen Canyon Sandstone (Upper Triassic to Lower Jurassic), a local name for the Navajo Sandstone (also known as the Nugget Sanstone). The Glen Canyon/Navajo/Nugget is an eolian quartzose sandstone representing a widespread desert sand dune deposit - an erg facies.

The eastern wall of the southern part of the warehouse has collapsed exposing the wood framing and contents to the outside. Bales of hay and some other items have been exposed to the elements for several years. I'm not sure how this happen but I'll propose a method - the roof was compromised first, allowing rain to enter, swelling the stored hay and pushing out the wall. A south wind would then catch the north half of the wall and bend it to its current position.

The kitchen had to be gutted in order to level the settled house and install new structural supports under the first floor framing system.
Silicone alone will not hold on shiny surfaces. Use 2x4 wood to support and nail the insulation into it
Structural steel for the Integrated Sciences Complex arrived on Wednesday, December 21, and the steelworkers have been busy erecting two stories of columns and beams on the north wing. The university community will see the ISC take shape as steel continues to go up and metal decks, concrete slabs and fireproofing are installed through the spring.

Taken at an old leather tannery in Johnstown, NY. THis is an old 5 story building that has structural problems and we are there to demo it.
Cracking, horizontal and vertical displacement of the brickwork for the outer platform shelter structures at Malvern station. The station is of one of four similarly designed ones between Caulfield and South Yarra built as part of a large scale project to lower the rail lines to remove numerous level crossings and expand the section of line from two to four tracks.
The stations at Malvern, Armadale, Toorak and Hawksburn were built to a common design by James W Hardy and were completed in 1914 with the quadruplication work coming into service in October 1915. The stations consist of a central island platform with outer side platforms all linked by a pair of enclosed footbridges. A similarly designed example is located at Camberwell on the Lilydale/Belgrave lines.
In recent years the shelters on the outer platforms have had cracking in the brickwork and significant horizontal movement, particularly near the arch structures over the platform entrances - which themselves have all been supported by a steel insert pinned at multiple locations into the brickwork. In many cases there have been survey markers placed to monitor the progression of movement.

This project consists of two separate rooftop penthouse apartments linked into one via a glass bridge between the two buildings, this glass bridge has an enclosed walkway enabling access between the two apartments & also the top part of the bridge has a glass balustrade walkway enabling access from the higher level of the south-side onto the rooftop garden terrace on the north-side,
Both the north & south areas of the penthouse consist of sloped & curved glazing attached to curved stainless-steal columns using structural bonding-tape & structural silicone, some of those actually have the ability to open to allow ventilation on hot days!
Powered by a motor attached to two stainless-steal arms using a switch to open & close each window,
We also installed glass for the lift shaft which give access from the ground floor up to the 4th & top floor of the south-side of the penthouse
the curved glass panels was imported to us in the United Kingdom from Italy, all other glass was supplied to us by Sharda Glass.
