I was planning my first "smoke photography session" since I've bought my new Nikon SB600 (i.e. last friday).
I've always been attracted by this kind of shoots and this night I had the right time and I was in the right mood to give it a try.

A burlesque performance at the 7th annual Walpurgistnacht Black and White Masquerade Ball at the Incus house in Jamaica Plain, MA, 5-5-07. My little digital camera can't handle low light and too much motion, but I like the blurred effects in these photos, actually.
