Tangle Pattern Strings #3 & 4. Couldn't get to a computer so I could crop off the top one. Sorry for the duplication!

In this rather dim light, the lens still hold its own, but the sensor is starting to flake out. The problem of old digital cameras - the lens is much better than the sensor.

This was taken with a 2003 Leica D-Lux, which is not to be confused with the much later Leica type 109, which I do not own.

“The world is all gates, all opportunities, strings of tension waiting to be struck.”

(Ralph Waldo Emerson - American Poet and Essayist, 1803-1882)

This is a close-up of the foot of a Sanskrit university student, trained to become a Hindu priest, while he was performing a religious ritual ceremony in order to worship the elements at Dasaswamedh ghat along the Ganges in Varanasi (Benaras).

At that time he was manipulating a heavy "Aarti lamp" making a tension on his foot while he had to twist his body in clockwise manner.

Marigold petals were spread all around the platform.

that's where I left my fingers heart and soul since 12 years ago..

Low-key photography. One light source.

Morning mist on a spider's web.

I bought this guitar in the mid-seventies (telling, ain't it?) and studied classical guitar under Sulaiman Zai at IUPUI. It's in remarkably good shape, and I've recently begun exploring my brain, searching for the neurons that remember how to play. Some of the stuff is still in there (I've found it!), but the rest is either still buried, destroyed in a chemical accident, or pushed off the stack by more (at the time) pressing knowledge.

But I am having fun.
