Our spinning/blinking string light can actually look cooler in photographs than in real life. You can see the 60's decorations they had on this part of the house.
BACKSTORY: Last party at DC Lauren & Andy's house! It was a 60's Psychedelic Party, and was quite a blast. We arrived early to help sulpply 80% of the lighting used at the party, bringing a strobe light, a spinning light, a blinking/spinning string light, 2 small changing-color LED lights, and about 6 blacklights, including a compact fluorescent blacklight bulb which was very bright.
Carolyn wore some trippy glowing-in-the-blacklight red stockings, and no bra (she burned it!). Clint wore a green sparkling smoking jacket over a black-and-white psychedelic checkerboard shirt that messed with everyone the entire night, plus a paisley tie (now lost) and polyester pants.
Mark & Jesse joined us, leaving around 3ish. We went to sleep around 3:30-4ish, and Carolyn woke me up at 5:30AM and made me take down all the lights and go home! Total light takedown was 30 minutes for me, 60 minutes for Carolyn (she woke up at 5)! Not that there was that much to do, but we were like zombies at first. We slept late the next day, and had company over, thus making it a 3-day weekend full of kittens and parties.

Week 43
The road trip to the party. I started this week off in Atlanta shooting a commercial for work. This was another one of those jobs that had us working on a beautiful golf course all day. There is something so amazing about these golf courses that I get to see. The scenery is so perfect that sometimes you almost can't believe your eyes. The job went well as usual and as soon as we wrapped we were back on the road heading home. We made it back on Wednesday night, just in time to help set up the office party for Friday. This was my first time going to one of these office parties due to me finally being of age. It was pretty amazing and I had a wonderful time though it is weird to watch a bunch of co-workers and people you have known your whole life to go completely crazy. On Saturday, the day after the party, I headed out with Eric, bought a new film camera, and shot some sunset scenes with him. Scott joined us later in the night and we ended up buying some pixie lights and tried to mimic the famous Instagram look that everyone likes to do. I think they turned out pretty cool!
I can't wait to see what this next week will bring!

I'm not exactly sure what's so intriguing about bokeh like this, but it sparks my interest and I love it.

Okay, so this took FOREVER to set up. Ugh. Then, to find out, half the lights didnt work. So yeah, that's why this was posted so late. Lol. At least it KINDA turned out how I wanted.... o_O
