or the really long stretchlimo in the streets of my hometown

In Honolulu when looking for cab, there was only a limo, so driver said he would only charge us for regular taxi ride. As we sat way in back, I noticed this wonderful lighting so took an image. Turned out very well and much better than I thought.

Anyone who has traveled in Southeast Asia knows that the motorbike is a form of 'mass transit'....it is not uncommon to see three or four on a bike; sometimes five, as in the image below.....I kept wondering if I would be able to see six on a bike....finally in Phnom Penh I saw them coming and was appropriately acknowledged as the tourist I was by the young man in front....

Holly had a limo to take her and 7 friends to Amadeus and back!

Lots of Opel fitments but registered as a Vauxhall; the manufacturer badge beneath the N/S rear light cluster is missing and there are "Elite" badges on the front door trims.

I spotted this stretch limo waiting in line for the car wash while I getting a chai tea latte at our local drive through. I thought it was too big for the wash bay so I've given it help in getting clean with a waterfall rainbow. Happy Slider Sunday! Thanks to Wikimedia Commons and Hansueli Krapf, Iceland for the waterfall/rainbow layer.

My Dear Scotty,

May we delight in growing old together… all the way until our rocking chair days.

Happy birthday, Love.

Last night as we were enjoying a rare supper out, this stretch limo based on a Hummer SUV pulled up to a restaurant next door and disgorged a bunch of teenagers dressed for prom. I don’t know which local high school had their prom last night but this bunch was traveling in style.

Taken on US Route 66 in Bourbon, Missouri.

It's always tough when you are on a trip, the weather is bad, you want to take a picture of something with a nice sky that isn't there and you'll probably never get back there. Adding to the problem is that I'm someone who doesn't like to change images much (paste in a beautiful cloudy sky). I tend to take the shot anyway.

I took pictures all around this building. On one side there is a ghost sign which I thought reads "Bourbon Home" and another word I can't make out. I tried to do a web search for "Bourbon Home" and drew a blank. I then looked at Google maps to see if I could find the building using the street view. It's a small town so, I thought it wouldn't be difficult. One problem is that there are very few streets that have a street view (ultimately it turns out that this building is on one of the streets not covered). I thought it was close to the main street and railroad tracks. Again, no luck. Then I noticed some writing on the building in the background of this shot which says "Alpha Omega Auto Repair" and finally got an address that turned out to be just about where I originally thought this was and found the building from the aerial view, but still couldn't find out what it had been originally used for. I then did a search on the history of Bourbon and finally found an article with a picture of this building. I still don't know what's up with a nice looking limo parked in front of such a dilapidated building.

Here's what the article says:.

"In the 1890s, the old Bourbon Hotel was built to serve travelers of the railroad. For years it served as a hotel until passenger rail service declined and afterward became a hostel before closing in the late 20th century. Today, the old building continues to stand though is abandoned and deteriorating."
