The perks of living in a big city

are plenty.

One of them ,in my opinion. is that you can go out anytime of the day or night and you will always get to see people walking, driving, living.. getting by and doing their thing. I sometimes find myself staring silently observing and making up senarios about their lives and shit. There is something soothing while driving at night though. Although you will get to see people around you feel the silence after a busy day, the city dressing in their night colours and gleaming lights guiding your way, letting all the stress of the day wear off and take the opportunity to breath. Turning on the radio and your jam starts playing and everything else disappears and you lose yourself in the music screaming your lungs out under the night sky and the city lights.

I did something different with this one, since I was using a different skin I created a face for the Avalon head which is not my usual head. This skin looks great on Avalon! The landscape seems to breathe here. It's windy, and unseasonably warm for this time of year in Southern Colorado, no snow.

That's Greenhorn Mountain in the BG. I'm heading west along an old mountain road. I'm around 5 miles from the East Spanish Peak mountain, just below the snow line. I've driven by so many Elk, Deer, and Yak, the Yak are tagged so there must be a farmer that lets them graze freely. Talk about stress free... It's an interesting mix of landscape elements up here, thousands of acres of plains and farmland bordered by a Pine Forest. Then the baron snow line and mostly rock to the Summit @ just under 13,000 ft.

Conditions were right earlier this week to visit a wetland just up the road.

This was so easy for me...chocolate. Hands down my most guilty pleasure. I love any kind of chocolate but prefer dark chocolate and I use it a lot in my baking. Maybe a guilty pleasure but such a good comfort food. It actually relieves stress...at least for me.
