The wonderful name of this Marais street, between Blvd Beaumarchais and Rue Turenne, was attributed in 1620. It derives from a bridge over the sewer running along Rue Turenne and the growing of cabbages in the fields through which the street passed.

Walking down a street in Paris.

Rue de Paris - 17th and 18th century.

.

One of the Travers le temps sections. Vintage shops, facades and decorations constructed just like how it was in the early beginning of modern-day Paris. Nice vintage posters decorate the walls, the few streetlights illuminate the scene. Even the train accident at the Montparnasse trainstation can be seen.
