One of the more successful attempts at a longer shutter release to get the water blurring. Handheld for 1/2 a second
The summer has been nipped in the bud in the high country and the nights are taking on a chill down on the flats. The foliage is in a stage of green to gone so the colors will be here for but fleeting days and we all have places to be. The stream will flow to the pond.
Agumbe, the homeland of the King Cobras! Apart from the King, the forest has other wildlife too. Leopards, Sambar deer, mouse deer, barking deer, gaurs, malabar giant squirrels, slender loris and langurs are found in this rain forest.
Just picked from a winter garden. The beet at the bottom is an albino! I was fortunate to come home with some of these which will find their way to my Thanksgiving table in a few weeks.
The Shounter Nullah joins river Neelum at this place (Kel) and leads to Gilgit Agency over the Shounter Pass (4,420 meter). Kel is also a base camp of mountaineering activities up to “ Sarawaal peak” 6326 meters above sea level and “Sarawaali Glacier” which are said to be the highest peak and biggest glacier of Azad Kashmir.

A few weeks ago I was lucky enough to be invited in to a property NE of Donnybrook. The owner knowing that the recent rains were transforming the usually trickle of water going over the rocks, to a rush of water.
As this was an impromptu visit, I didn't have my tripod with me. So this is a handheld shot, took me a few to get the focus and sharpness right, but I am stoked with the result.
I was doggin this heron for some shots when it started to sprinkle out. The subject at hand started to cross the stream and then opened up it's wings. Immediatly the image of Gene Kelly dancin in the puddles popped into my head.

A small stream flows past Coronation Pool, a public swimming pool fed by freshwater streams from the forests of Bukit Larut (Maxwell Hill) just outside of Taiping. This pool was opened in 1870 and is the only type of its kind in Malaysia.
Sassy and I spent last weekend in the Mt Rainier National Park area. There's a bit of a story to it but being pressed for time I won't bore you with the details today. This is a little stream that caught my eye as we were driving back down the road from Paradise. I half expected to see little fairy's flying around among the ferns and moss. It had that enchanted look to it.
