I loved the fact that mother nature could be so spacially diverse within a short distance. I was fascinated as I looked through my view finder.
This is the same set of rocks that appear in the previous post.
Hidden on Maui's north shore there are streams to explore. Off the beaten path here the shape of the rocks was mesmerizing.
Thanks!

Went on a Moth hunt along this steep sided part of the stream I had to put the cryptic Moths to flight and try and observe where they resettled On a few occasions I was successful but many flew too high up the bank or too far or I simply could not follow them with my eyes :-(
southeast Olympic Mountain stream off of FS road #23. Wanted to hike on the S. Fork Skok river today, but got a late start and then found one of those stupid game gates 5 miles from the trail head. ( should have checked my FS Hoodsport District map ) :(
Looking at these mossy rocks breaking a mountain stream I always think about how they got there. Rain water erodes the limestone cliffs of these mountains and they eventually break in pieces and fall down into this stream.
The streams are really moving after the almost non stop rain we've been having lately.
5 exposures merged in Lightroom.
A mountain stream is a photograph I took in July 2021 while walking through Glencoe in the Scottish highlands.

Endless streams all flow to the sea. I would be beside the stream for a long time, but also like a lot of thoughts, feeling as if all the hard put water in general, there is no return of the same!
Looks Better Large!
Went out for a few hours yesterday looking for some interesting things to shoot. This is one of my captures on my journey.
I currently am a member of imagekind and sell some of my images there. I am uploading images on a daily basis. If you see an image here but, not there, send me a message and I will upload it for you to purchase.
These are just a few pics of the many little mountains streams we found while exploring the area this fall. These are right off the roadway and made for a very scenic drive.
We discovered this trail last weekend at Reinhardt Redwood Regional Park. The surrounding woods are incredibly dense full of mosses and ferns. The place is almost like a mini rainforest with its own microclimates. I can't wait wait to explore that park again.
The scent by this stream in the woods is sulphur-like, like that of a match. The colour is original, not photoshopped.
** Cheonggyecheon Stream, Seoul **
A canal that flows across Seoul's downtown. This area was renovated a few years ago and has now become one of the top places to visit, especially in the evening.
