This serene long-exposure photograph captures the gentle cascade of a woodland stream over moss-covered rocks. The silky texture of the water contrasts beautifully with the rugged surfaces of the stones, creating a meditative and timeless natural scene.

This image is a combination of three shots taken at different aparature settings (F3.5, F5.6, F8.0) and merged in HDR Pro. Though the technique of creating an HDR image by varying aperture is unusual because of the changing depth of field, the result was fine, however there was nothing I could do to the colour to prevent it from feeling flat and doing the image justice.

So to save the picture I continued to fiddle with it and went for a grainy film noir effect :) which was produced by over boosting the contrast and decreasing the grains per pixel with a vignette and white border finish. Makes for a different image to my repertoir.
