Got this photo last week while taking one of the walking trails at Woolaroc park in northeastern Oklahoma during a photo workshop with Jerry Poppenhouse.
A small stream leading in to the Carbon River in Washington State. In the Mount Rainer National Forest.
This is a glass slide showing a traditionaly English country scene of cows drinking in a shallow stream.
The slide is from 1928. It was taken by South Shields Photographic Society's photographer Harrison Burgess.

Weeks Falls, on the Southfork Snoqualmie River at the East end of Olallie State Park in Washington State.
Near Moura, this water stream has good memories of my teenage times...although no longer walkable, it's a great from view from the bridge with the same name: "Ardila"
My first waterfall long exposures with my new filter set. I think there will be lots of fun in the future with these.
Lovely to find these tiny brooks and streams making their way down the Cornish hillsides then tumbling over the cliffs and finding their way amongst the rocks to finally splash into the sea below.
The Boquet River (also spelled Bouquet River) tumbles 35 feet over a rocky ledge on the eastern side of Adirondack Park.
Despite recent shoulder surgery (him) and a ruptured ACL plus meniscal tear (me - knee brace out of shot!) - the team managed to complete a 5k Rainbow run today.
We're here are visiting all things gigantic. Well, this was pretty big for us today!!
