On May 1st I had a friend come over with her children on a play date with my son and she brought me a most lovely little strawberry plant... I was delighted!!! This is the very first fruit to come from that little plant and I was so happy and proud I took a bunch of shots :))) So this one is for Georgia!

Strawberry lit from the left. My personal favourite as I like the contrast between the shadow on the fruit combined with the light on the reflection.

These strawberries were "captured" at a roadside stand in the Leelanau Peninsula, MI. Strawberry shortcake for dinner!

Sweet, juicy strawberries, love them for breakfast, lunch, dinner or snacks! Truly, one of my favourite fruits anytime, every time, especially with whipped cream! LoL!
Made this shot in a restaurant in Paris. Forgot the name. The food was gross. And I mean really gross. I guess that's why I am repressing memories *lol* But these tartlets at least looked good and that's most important for a picture ;-)

Altes Foto aus einem Restaurant in Paris. Den Namen hab ich aber erfolgreich verdrängt. Das war das ekeligste Essen meines Lebens. Und ich ess fast alles. Das heißt also was *lol* Aber wenigstens haben die Törtchen gut ausgeschaut. Und das reicht ja fürs Foto ;-)

Strawberries are showing up now in the grocery stores and were on sale this week, yay, that's a win for me! I tried dropping the strawberry but couldn't get anything to work that looked interesting so I played around and decided to pour the water over the strawberry.
