The European Central Bank holds its Strategy Assessment Press Conference in Sintra, Portugal, on 30 June 2025. President Christine Lagarde and Chief Economist Philip R. Lane, joined on stage by Wolfgang Proissl, Head of Communications at the ECB, announce the results of the strategy assessment and answer questions from journalists.

Business-level Strategy is a plan that indicates how a division intends to compete against its rivals in an industry. FedEx created a business-level strategy to separate themselves from UPS when they purchased Kinko's. However, UPS tried to counter this move with the purchase of Mailboxes Etc. and the establishment of The UPS Store. FedEx has now gone one step further with the name change to FedEx Office. This move tries to create a feeling that they are your second office, in which you can accomplish multiple tasks at one location, proving to be more convienient than UPS or The UPS Store.

BUILDING AN OPEN A.I. ECOSYSTEM

Hosted by Intel

A.I. is moving fast at all levels, making it more difficult and complex to

build and deploy solutions. Rapid A.I. innovation does not happen in a

walled garden. Achieving A.I. everywhere requires an open software

ecosystem that can streamline workflows, reduce cost, and accelerate

innovation while ensuring security and ethical practices. What are the

most relevant implications of an open ecosystem? How can organizations share and best leverage open innovation to empower their industries and maximize benefits of AI?
