so is this table to yotel what the spoon is to the matrix?
i really like the yotel hotel system, but sometimes they seem to be missing a few screws.
i stayed in the heathrow airport location the first night and was excited to put some of my lighter junk on the table in my pod-room. it wasn't until i had hiked up the tabletop and realised it had no kind of support system that i found this sign. which was visible under the table only AFTER you had lifted it up, possibly hoping to lead you to believe that the creaky metal surface you had just wrenched open to a semi-permanent 70º-angle had never even existed in the first place.
brilliant work, guys. absolutely brilliant.

My brothers chest rig by Haley Strategic. He got it about two weeks ago, just got the Holster Wedge in today. He's still waiting on a INCOG holster from G-Code. I used my kydex holster and M&P .40 compact for now. I set it all up for him, easy for him since we're twins and exactly the same size

The 9th Strategic Reconnaissance Wing (SRW) was the only U.S. Air Force unit to use the SR-71 on operational missions. The wing is one of the oldest units in the Air Force.
Its earliest incarnation was the 1st Aero Squadron, a unit which traces its lineage to General Pershing's expedition into Mexico in 1916. This was the first use of aircraft by the American military in actual combat.
Both the 1st and the later 99th Aero Squadrons fought in World War I and participated in four major campaigns during the war: the St. Mihiel air offensive in September 1918, the Champagne-Marne, Aisne-Marne, and the Meuse-Argonne. These squadrons along with the 5th Aero Squadron were combined into the 9th Bombardment Group in 1922.
During World War II the 9th Bomb Group flew B-29s in the Pacific Theater and earned several Distinguished Unit Emblems for combat over Japan.
The unit briefly adopted a reconnaissance mission and was redesignated the 9th Strategic Reconnaissance Wing in 1949. They flew RB-29s and RB-36s on photographic, electronic and weather reconnaissance missions for the next year.
1950 saw the wing reverting to the bombardment mission and began conversion to the B-47. For the next 16 years the 9th Bomb Wing flew from Mountain Home AFB, Idaho as a part of the Strategic Air Command's nuclear bomber force. The 9th again became the Strategic Reconnaissance Wing and moved to Beale AFB, California to operate the new SR-71 Blackbird in 1966.
The 9th SRW first used the Blackbird over Vietnam and other parts of Southeast Asia. Permanent detachments were maintained at Kadena AFB, Okinawa and Mildenhall Royal Air Force Base in the United Kingdom to provide reconnaissance services in those regions of the world.
The venerable U-2, the Air Force's other strategic reconnaissance aircraft, was added to 9th SRW operations in 1976.
In 1990, the Air Force made a political and economic decision to retire the SR-71s from service. For over a decade the U-2 was left as the only strategic reconnaissance aircraft in use by the 9th SRW.
RQ-4 Global Hawk RPVS (remotely piloted vehicles) were assigned to the wing in 2001. Both the RQ-4's and U-2's continue to provide reconnaissance for the U.S. military around the world when an air breathing asset is the best, most efficient means of acquiring key intelligence information.

I noticed this stand of a Chinese software company at LinuxTag 2006 in Wiesbaden, Germany.
The otherwise empty and barren stand featured a reasonably attractive and politely smiling Asian girl standing by behind a table with two business card displays and a box of readily available soft paper tissues.
And this at a trade fair visited by lots of computer nerds whose notion of women is dominated by the pictures they encounter on the internet.
You do the math.
Anyone whose result starts with "bu-" wins a virtual spanking for having a dirty mind.
No, not what you are all thinking now, I am fairly sure that this stand served a family-friendly purpose. But I could really not find out what this stand was there for to offer or advertise.
Oh, and yes, I asked the attendant her permission to take her picture for putting it up on the internet "because of the interesting and very curious stand." She consented.
Strategic, skulking retreat with tail displayed and head turned towards the other hidden bird..
It just occurred to me that given our characteristic dealings with these birds it is not surprising that skulking and hiding prowess might be a major display and attraction aid! OK, maybe I'm inferring too much..:)
