For info: This is not a crater lake, the valley has been shaped by a glacier. The mountains are of ordinary folded Scandinavian bedrock. You don't find a volcano here, there is no hint of volcanic activity for at least half a billion years.

A sunset in february 2007 as seen from the summit of the mountain Roalden (1230 meters).
This mountain is easily accessibile, as a ski lift goes almost to the top.
I took the ski lift up just before closing time with the purpose of staying there until sunset to photograph the sunset and dusk.
Weather conditions were almost perfect, as it is very rare in the winter to have almost calm conditions at this altitude.
After a while fog or low clouds started forming around the top, reducing the visibility and preventing any further photographing.
And for the sake of safety I packed up my gear and headed downhill. The fog did however not progress further down the mountain and I was able to get safely down from the mountain before complete darkness fell.
