On Friday, September 30, 2016, 21st Century Parks celebrated the opening of The Strand. Completion of this section provides full connectivity of The Parklands of Floyds Fork northern and southern parks. Fuerteventura ist die zweitgrößte der zu Spanien gehörenden Kanarischen Inseln. Sie liegt im Atlantischen Ozean, 100 km von der Nordküste Afrikas entfernt. Fuerteventura ist vor allem als Ferieninsel bekannt – wegen ihrer weißen Sandstrände und des idealen Wetters: Es ist ganzjährig warm und es weht stets ein kühlender Wind. Die Insel wird von einer Vielzahl von Stränden eingerahmt, zwischen denen jeweils Felsen und kleine geschützte Buchten liegen. Bei Wassersportlern ist Fuerteventura vor allem als Ziel zum Surfen, Windsurfen und Wasserskifahren beliebt.
Fuerteventura is the second largest of the Spanish Canary Islands. It is located in the Atlantic Ocean, 100 km from the north coast of Africa. Fuerteventura is best known as a holiday island - because of its white sand beaches and ideal weather: it is warm all year round and it always blows a cooling wind. The island is framed by a multitude of beaches, each with rocks and small sheltered bays. For water sports enthusiasts Fuerteventura is especially popular as a destination for surfing, windsurfing and waterskiing.
