Pärlans Konfektyr is a newly opened store in Stockholm with specializes in handmade caramels made from high quality ingredients. The "golden era of caramels" was in the 30s and therefore the cashier wears clothes similar to the fashion in the 30s. That alone is worth a visit.

Historic Smallwood store in Chokoloskee, Florida. Was built in the early 1900's by Mr. Smallwood and was the centerpiece of the town. It is now a museum and shows what life was like on the island in the 1900's.

It is located at the end of the road past Everglade City, Florida.

If you're gonna wait in line for 5 hours you bring chairs. If you want to be first in line its best to bring someone along. If all else fails, offer them first spot in line. Having someone else in line lets you walk around from time to time and comes in handy when nature calls.

Dior store windows on Avenue Montaigne in Paris.

This store window was filled with the cheapest junk imaginable (all Chinese of course). And when I went inside, I found that there were lots of people standing in line to buy it.

This country looking store/bar/restaurant is near the bike path that I enjoy traveling. It is on River Rd., next to the Mississippi River levee. It reminds me of the country - missing are horses tied in front of the place. There is a bike rack, though.
