I fell in love with the final product! The legs are as precious as the top of the stool! too cute. Done in water-based glossy enamel and hit with several coats of non-yellowing polyurathane

same concept as my "parking garage" stool from last week but a little different because now it has a base

five wheeled stool with an affixed motorcycle seat. odd and out of place in a body shop.

I modified an IKEA frosta stool according to Door Sixteen's instruction. I also made it shorter. Please excuse the poor quality of the photo, lighting is bad during the day because it's been raining almost non-stop.

With industrial sturdiness and Japanese artistry, the Pleated Stool’s upholstered seat achieves a unique texture through the innovative folding of rich fabric. Marvel at its intricate design as you run your fingers over it, and never worry about wrinkles! By pleating in two directions, a grid is created to complement a rectilinear frame in powder-coated steel and ebonized walnut.

A close-up of the ladybug stool, shows the pink and orange fur feet.

I painted this wooden stool with my original ladybug design. It was in my daughter's school auction.

I purchased a chair from Habitat for Humanity ReStore, and a stool from our local Goodwill shop. Both started out a bit sad in the upholstery way, but had shapes I loved and were solidly constructed. So I ripped off the old, sad upholstery, re-padded both a bit; painted the frames with RustOleum Heirloom White, and reupholstered both pieces using dropcloths from the hardware store. Now they exist in harmony together in our Guest Room, as a quiet reading spot and favorite kitty perch. :)

Wooden stool... in good condition... doesn't wobble... stands straight!...

Hand Carved Stool , production of carved christening

stools has been temporarily suspended . Since the disastrous fire in Sept. 2009 which devastated our

premises , and destroyed all our long and carefully collected sets of wood carving chisels and gouges , we

have not , as yet , managed to replace the tools . we will post notice as and when we restart the supply of christening stools .

Made of solid oak from well-managed forests, the Folks stool is considerably weighted for stability and durability.

after about an hour in the blast cabinet with 80 grit glass beads; law of diminishing returns and why i hate finish work. i used one can of clear coat- looks like the same texture all over.

My brilliant 11 year old son (by marriage) put the hole in the seat by giving the stool a good whack with a framing hammer. guess i need to find some more vinal.

Here is the nekkid structure of the second, and shorter, oak wine barrel stave stool, only slightly embarrassed without its seat slats.
