The environment at Sky Willow Springs station from Stokes lookout is a truly amazing experience during sunset lighting. I spent much of my time shooting at longer focal lengths during my trip to the Flinders Ranges earlier this year!
Seen in there final few days of service for London Overground, veteran EMU’s No.s 315807 & 315802 are seen at Stoke Newington Station on the 16th of October 2020, working the 22:52 2U95 service from Enfield Town to London Liverpool Street.

We drove down to visit the National Trust's Waddesdon Manor in Buckinghamshire yesterday, but the crowds were horrendous so we came back up to Northamptonshire and called in at Stoke Bruerne instead. This is a very pretty canal village which is home to the Canal Museum. Here the Grand Union canal is pictured about quarter of a mile south of the Blisworth tunnel. We spotted the red and green boat coming up behind us, so Judy kindly provided some contrast on the towpath.
I didn't have my camera with me so borrowed Judy's i-Phone. I then tonemapped the picture in Photomatix to bring out some of the detail.

4 views from the Grand Union Canal in Northamptonshire. Taken during a 30 mile cycle from my home, starting at 5am and back for breakfast
Stoke Bruerne is on the Grand Union canal a few miles south of Northampton. It is a delightful spot with two pub/restaurants, a cafe and the famous Canal Museum. A number of narrowboats also tie up alongside and sell a variety of goods and trinkets. About half a mile to the north is the Blisworth Tunnel.
