Around the Douglas Fir tree forest in one section of the Vancouver’s world famous Stanley Park, Christmas-themed décor, reindeers, Santa, ginger-bread houses, nutcrackers, Christmas lights lined the area. As you enter the park plaza area which is free (even parking is free in early December), you will hear The Little Drummer Boy and Michael Jackson, the King of Pop, belts out Christmas tunes. Tickets are required for the Christmas Train Ride but worth it. Furthermore, part of that is for charity to raise money for the Fire Fighters' Burn Fund. It is the time of year to celebrate and give. The 13th Bright Nights at Stanley Park (Nov 26, 2010 to January 02, 2011) is one of the best places to be this holiday season.

I call this my Rose Garden, it's a little wild & overgrown! Bright aluminum mobius flowers woven with black rubber OH! Rings make a chunky, fun & totally bad ass chainmaille stretch bracelet. The design is mine & one of my favorites.
Currently this is fit for a man at approximately 8 inches, however it can also be a very comfortable looser fit for a ladies standard wrist. If you would prefer a different size, drop me a note.

So Christmas pics of the boys are probably the most difficult photo assignment of the year, every year. But at least Judah fits in his stocking!
This was primarily lit with two umbrellas behind a 9'x9' (ish) diffusional panel. I added a small softbox above their heads for a little accent and separation.
FYI, I hate lighting Christmas trees. The only good Christmas tree photos are on a tripod with long exposures, and that just won't work for kids. :)

These are mini/miniature Little Golden Books. They are complete in every way, just tiny. With my love of books and all things small, I couldn't resist!
Books pictured here include, "Tawny Scrawny Lion," Pinocchio," "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs," "I Can Dress Myself" (with Grover from Sesame Street, "We Like Kindergarten," and "Peter Pan."
There's several more in the surrounding photos in my Flickr Stream here. Lots of Disney and Christmas Focused ones too, and they make outstanding stocking stuffers, as well as books to throw in a purse or backpack for emergency reading. :)
Some are even the premiums to the iconic Lifesavers Christmas Storybook (as if candy needs a premium).
