Heading into what might just be a green Christmas I have green on the mind ;) These two pens were cast using black cherry burl pieces and Alumilite. With a Rhodium finish these pens make excellent gifts.

So Christmas pics of the boys are probably the most difficult photo assignment of the year, every year. But at least Judah fits in his stocking!
This was primarily lit with two umbrellas behind a 9'x9' (ish) diffusional panel. I added a small softbox above their heads for a little accent and separation.
FYI, I hate lighting Christmas trees. The only good Christmas tree photos are on a tripod with long exposures, and that just won't work for kids. :)

The design for these coaster was inspired by night hiking through the snowy forest. We were enamored with the contrast between the white snow and dark trees.
To create this set of coasters we fired up our 100 year old Chandler & Price printing press. We hand mixed a deep twilight blue ink to print white coasters for a clean modern graphic statement. These super thick 4" round coasters love to be letterpressed! They also hold up for dozens of uses as long as you do not spill colored liquid on them. Never fear, the ink will not run if the coaster gets wet.

This wee little mouse was made using Larissa Holland's Wee Mouse Tin House pattern.
The wee little mouse and all of his accessories (minus the tin, of course) were made of 100% wool felt. The mouse and his teddy bear are stuffed with unspun wool and hand sewn and embroidered with cotton embroidery floss.
The mouse stands just under 4" (about 10 cm) from toes to tips of ears and his little teddy bear is just over 1.5" (about 4 cm) tall.
The set includes the wee mouse in white, bear in copper, blanket in olive green, pillow in grass green, and mattress pad in fern green.
