Brenda and Belinda want to go adventuring again.

onions, orange pepper, spring onions, fresh green beans and courgettes

my favorite part when I was little was stirring. I remember how my little arms couldn't stir anymore when all the flour went in.

Seen on the beautiful island Gili Meno. Maybe the best place to relax in Indonesia.

Taken on a 2 week tour of the Outer Hebrides back in October 2018, I stumbled on this wonderfully isolated beach of Traigh Stir and had the place to myself, mostly. The Outer Hebridean beachs are easily some of the worlds best and most scenic, in my opinion! 😀

This one is situated on the north west coast of North Uist near Baleloch.

Sometimes when something goes wrong, its right

It normally takes up to 9 hours to cook. During the entire cooking process, the dodol must be constantly stirred in a big wok. Pausing in between would cause it to burn, spoiling the taste and aroma. The dodol is completely cooked when it is firm, and does not stick to one's fingers when touching it.

A worker at a yogurt factory stirs milk simmering over a charcoal fire. The factory is filled with smoke and steam which results in the light rays from sunlight streaming in from the corrugated iron roof above.

Why an I seeing strange things? As I am cutting and sewing on felt, I looked at my scraps and saw...a fox! But when I put it on the window, my husband had another idea. He saw a butterfly. I can see that, too! Butterfly: flic.kr/p/2iKJQ5G

Thanks Karen for giving us a much needed reprieve. Only hoping your yet born siblings show the same grace.

This was taken yesterday during a visit to Forrester's Beach (Central Coast NSW) by myself and a bunch of other Newcastle Sundance members.

We were wishing for a colourful sunrise - but sadly it didn't happen; so we had to use our creative side to come up with images worth keeping.

Here - I was fortunate to capture the swirling pattern the receeding water made in the rockpool.

This is a very old mug that I brought back from Australia, many years ago .... and that's a spoon sitting diagonally within it!

I was watching this wonderful character at Otterspool cafe Liverpool talking to an elderly couple, he was constantly laughing and smiling. Obviously a lover of life and I think a community worker.

A 4x4 vehicle carrying trekkers near the Mount Pinatubo crater kicks up dust as it traverses a path covered with volcanic ash in Zambales, Philippines.

Getting a little stir crazy due to the Lockdown and a dodgy hip, so some fresh air and gentle exercise at the local reservoir in the dark.

Milky Way core season is nearly on us so I wanted to refresh the skills of astrophotography.

This one is a single exposure looking up towards Ursa Major. It's surprising how much light pollution there is even in an area noted for relatively low pollution

Thanks to a suggestion from Ingrid in OZ, have recropped the previous image which gives a much better balance. Taking out the sun, which was hideously overblown, has allowed tweaks elsewhere in the image including a general warming up. Not sure if it's still right but much better. Thanks Ingrid - great to have a fresh pair of eyes to provide some inspiration!

As previously, this is Traigh Stir beach on the north west coast of North Uist.
