Right - I am!
K, so, I know I promised updates soon after my hiatus, and I never thought this would last so long...but it did :s !
To whoever was following me: i'm sowwy x.x - really.
This and the next one are basically the first edited pics I took in months.
My RL and career took a different path and during what I thought was gonna be a temporary, fairly short hiatus, I realized I was more than a bit burning out with all of that.
The idea for the foreseeable future is to keep using this page for anything cute and creative that I came up to in SecondLife. I will try to still credit what I'm wearing in those shots, and while some of them will probably seem regular blog posts - they most likely wont be. I've decide that for now I'll post in here whenever I can and want, not as much regular strict schedules and deadlines. I needed and need some time for myself and so my current situation would not allow creators to rely on me as a blogger like this. However I'm still very much into SL, fashion and art, and so this will be my lil angle for showing some of that.
I hope you cuties are all fine and safe with all the cray stuff that's happen and that is still happening right now ♥
Take care,
Ari

Still looking for that perfect misty morning, getting a bit tired of being fogged out, with low cloud on the horizon, as was the case this morning.
But still, the last of the purple heather is blending in nicely with the bracken turning a nice rusty colour. I will try and return here again soon before turning my attention to Dorset locations for mist. Also looking forward to being able to shoot the coast again with the sun better positioned.
I am gradually getting used to my new tripod and L Bracket, so much easier for shooting vertical compositions. However I do prefer landscape shots, orientation-wise but maybe I had got into a rut! It was also nice to dust off my wide-angled lens.

Eilat stone, a rare stone, found in the Negev beside the Gulf of Aquaba, alongside where king Solomon's copper mines were.
Also known as 'king Solomon's stone',(National Stone) it consists of malachite, azurite, turquoise, pseudomalachite, chrysocolla. As with most rare stones, there are several imitations.

It was kind of a windless, foggy, misty morning. I had a grand time watching the constant changes in lighting on the water and the distant background.

Image captured in the morning before going for a walk in Vielsalm (south of Liege, Belgium). Quite a cold day as you can guess... Although the day was cloudy, the snow and reflection combine here to produce a great light and atmosphere in my view.

Here's the 2022 edition of the 'final season' of the remaining U30C duo and single C30-7 on the LS&I. It seems like every year the rumor of new power to replace them comes and goes. Of course, the rumor will eventually come true for these locomotives who are approaching their 50th year in service.
Through the open French window the warm sun
lights up the polished breakfast-table, laid
round a bowl of crimson roses, for one –
a service of Worcester porcelain, arrayed
near it a melon, peaches, figs, small hot
rolls in a napkin, fairy rack of toast,
butter in ice, high silver coffee pot,
and, heaped on a salver, the morning’s post.
she comes over the lawn, the young heiress,
from her early walk in her garden-wood,
feeling that life’s a table set to bless
her delicate desires with all that’s good,
that even the unopened future lies
like a love-letter, full of sweet surprise.

"The stillness of the early morning scene enables me to take in and enjoy many
things which pass me by during the bustle of the day. First, there are the scents,
which seem even more generous with their offerings than they are in the evening."

A late sunset over Port Phillip Bay in Victoria, Australia. This is a 2 minute exposure and the image was taken from the shores of a small town called Clifton Springs.
When despair for the world grows in me, and I wake in the night at the least sound in fear of what my life and my children's lives may be -- I go and lie down where the wood drake rests in his beauty on the water, and the great heron feeds. I come into the peace of wild things who do not tax their lives with forethought or grief. I come into the presence of still water. And I feel above me the day-blind stars waiting with their light. For a time I rest in the grace of the world, and am free.
