My efforts so far.
The one on the far left is the initial prototype, the next one in is prototype 2 using a different pattern, and the other two are two attempts using that new pattern, with the high-quality reticulated foam.
(why two of the high-quality? Assuming my gambit works and Colbert swaps voice for puppet, I want to have one kicking around both because it'll be cool to have, and also because with two I don't have to wait until the episodes with him are filmed before getting the publicity of going on his show.)
(also its more practice)
I went to the rally in D.C. today, there was a gigantic crowd, had to be at least 200,000, they whole event was great and the message was one that we should all pay heed too. Jon Stewart for President 2012! They have clips of almost the whole rally on the comedy Central website now, check it out at... www.comedycentral.com/shows/rally_to_restore_sanity_and_o...
Where else but Times Square would you find a huge-ass ad for "The Colbert Report" plastered on the side of a building?

After the rally was over they let us all get out on one street so it was like a huge parade walking up seventh street for atleast 4 blocks. CRAZY.
