Stella is a sweetheart who plays so nicely with everyone. We’ve been meeting more friendly dog people and we are so grateful for that.

A windmill called Mulino Maria Stella was once used to lift water into the salt marshes of the Saline di Trapani e Paceco near Trapani, Western Sicily, Italy.

Stella point (5,685 m) is the junction where the Machame and Marangu route join to continue together until the summit: Uhuru Peak (5,895 m), which is the highest peak of Kilimanjaro.
We began to climb from Barafu Camp (4,550 m) at 1:00 a.m.. We arrived at Stella point with sunrise. From here to the summit was very short itinerary (in just under 30 minutes).

A few months ago I decided to cut down on my alcohol consumption. However, this meant I no longer had any subject matter to throw some light at. Today I wanted a play so resorted to a good old 0% Stella Artois.
Why is low alcohol beer so flippin' expensive?? It's cheaper to buy the real deal so where is the incentive not to become an alcoholic :)
This isn't bad anyway and one of the cheaper varieties out there. If you go down the craft 'Brew Dog' route then you feel so cheated when you take one out of the fridge. This hits that spot tho when you just want to sog a beer without the calories...

We adopted Stella from the Humane Society; she was brought up to Michigan from a shelter in Tennessee with some other puppies. She is a sweet girl.
Stella snuck into the tree room and started celebrating before the rest of us. 😂 she figured out which bag held her treats but only took out her new chew toy. She sat guilty next to her ill gotten gains happily wagging her tail! 🎄😄

Stella is from the Netherlands, and, when I photographed her, had recently moved to London to study art history. Stella is friends with Lucy (www.flickr.com/photos/daniel_c_c/albums/72157659121007839), being in the same year, and living in the same accommodation block.
Hey all! Sorry that I seemed to have fallen off the face of the earth. It has been a hectic couple of months...
For the record, I did not - party myself sick, develop a drug habit, catch a life-threatening illness from overpriced Mexican food, regret my decision to board a plane without a mask, fall down an abandoned mine shaft, lose my job or join the ranks of homeless on the streets of San Francisco.
I did - travel across a good chunk of the country, move to Oakland, see a shit ton of live music, work more than I rightfully should, have a nearly religious experience involving sweet tea and cornbread, find Daniel Boone alive and well in the Kentucky wild, play with some friendly 4-horned sheep, stroll barefoot through a field of 6' tall concrete corn cobs, walk across more cities than I'm able to remember right now, get lost in the woods, drive a Big Wheel like a bat out of hell down a steep and curvy city street, blah blah blah. In the process, I may have neglected you. I'm so sorry.
I can't make any promises, but I'll try to be better.
The photo is Stella, one of my new roommates. She seems to think I'm hilarious.
Meet Stella. She is 3 years old and was the 4th jaguar we saw when in the Pantanal. We saw her on 2 occasions, this being the first. We tracked her for about 1.5hrs and observed her hanging out on the river bank, swimming, and searching for prey. She has the most amazing eyes.

My grand-dog Stella an English bulldog and her sister Bailey are staying with me for a while. My daughter Kerry and her husband Ryan want to sell their house and buy a bigger one. Stressful with a 2 month old and a 4 year old and them both working. So the dogs are at their vacation home.
