It's so important to stay true to yourself. Especially when you're going through treatment.
When I have the IV's in me, its like I change into another world. Everything grows darker, and as each bag of fluids and medication is pumped into me, and syringes of blood are taken from me, its like I simply deflate. I can't handle everyday things, and it's like a cloud comes over me. Its too easy to focus on the needle marks, and the bruises from failed attempts at IVs, and the pain that surrounds me that week. Luckily, I have art and photography, but even with those, it can still get really difficult to stay focused on the good stuff.
