I stopped by the statue on my way to work today to try and retake a picture of this with my D600 so that I could compare it to the F4, but seem to have misremembered how it was composed.
Same lens, similar time of year and day, different body, and slightly different composition.

Another point-of-view of a most realistic statue I stumbled upon while on a cruise of New Zealand two years ago.
Large bronze statue of a Malster and his cat standing in the Memorial Garden outside the church. The work of the sculptor, Jill Tweed, it was unveiled in the Millennium to commemorate 600 years of the malting industry in Ware. The ears of the cat are shiny where they have been stroked by children!
The sculpture known as the 50p Piece and is by Robert Berkoff, it is on the edge of the Italian Garden and was unveiled on the 24th February 1976.
It was a gift from the Bank of England to Trentham for housing the London Clearing Banks in The Grand Hall, from 1939 to 1945.
This statue represents the rim of a 50p coin with the crests of the clearing banks of the time shown on the visible sides and enveloping the man. It symbolises the all-embracing concern of the clearing banks for the financial well-being of their customers – !!!!
Statue of Gwilym Williams of Miskin (1839-1906). He was chairman and vice-chairman of quarter sessions for the county of Glamorgan for 19 years and judge of the county courts for 22 years. The statue was sculpted by Sir William Goscombe John.
My goal, with this image, was to make a living statue and give it an old stamp.

This is a statue/sculpture at Homosassa Springs, of a Florida panther, and I was so drawn to it, that I felt compelled to make images of it.
