It dawned on me that my stationary was stationary. I found this cool white pen the other day, but it is only cool if you have black paper.
That is my handwriting by the way. I have jars full of pens and pencils and I usually carry around a Fountain pen. I love writing on paper.

A stationary motorbike parked in front of a bright green wall with fast forward arrows painted on it. Seen in the underground carpark of a shopping centre.
Steam rolling down the side of Mammoth Hot Springs in Yellowstone during the 2018-2019 government shutdown. Slowly freezing the branches of these trees in a thin layer of ice.
Een mobiele telefoonhouder die ik regelmatig gebruik. Dit is de achterkant, omdat ik beloofd heb, de bedrijfsnaam buiten beeld te houden.
A mobile phone holder that I use regularly. This is the back, because I promised to keep the company name out of the picture.
The basics of colors, RGB.
Added some fragments of the colors on the base to make the composition more vibrant.
A longer exposure of the Lorain Lighthouse renders only the lights from a passing boat visible. Typically, I'll zoom in slightly more for greater clarity on the lighthouse, but I wanted to capture the wave/wake in the immediate foreground created by the same boat as well.
While out riding motorcycles in the countryside one day we ventured across some tank hulks. This is a WWII era US made M-18 Hellcat. Only upon our return and mentioning where we were and what we had found to our friends did we learn that we had somehow wondered onto a restricted military test firing range. That's yours truly in the turret unaware of the danger!

I've already mentioned how cold it was this morning during the period just before sun rise. But it was worth the experience just to watch the subtle play of colours on the horizon as the light from the sun was giving birth to a brand new day.
We can never get away from the concepts of sunrise or sunset, even though we all know that it is in fact the earth (and us) that is spinning towards the sun in this case. So for a moment looking at this scene, try to imagine the earth revolving "downwards" following the line of our vision here, only to introduce the stationary sun in all its glory.
[If you enlarge the photo you can actually find the silhouette of a ship on the horizon. It's very small though.]

The amount of movement undertaken by a bird when it decides to take off is incredible. Many a time I have focussed on a stationary bird and within the timescale between when I send the signal to my brain to take the photograph and the trigger is actually pressed birds are able to make all manner of movement.
This robin is one such example.
Photographed at the Old Moor Nature Reserve.

Bought this staple remover in 1967 when I started my first job in Canada, was told I would need it to deal with the reams of paperwork, they were right!

To get rid of a lot of obstructions I unfortunately had to crop substantially. The leopard stayed stationary for only a few seconds before disappearing again. What it was staring at I don't know.
A herd of elephants was passing the car. We were stationary, and very quiet... l was a little nervous but could not miss the internal beauty of these wonderful wild animals.
Summer closeup of adult green heron resting on aquatic vegetation. Came upon this one while walking along a boardwalk.
