It may be 17 years since I sold anything, and I'm exempt from having to picket. But I still carry a Guild card (proof that someone once liked something I wrote enough to pay real money for it). And I believe the writers are RIGHT in their fight to hold on to their hardwon residuals, insurance and pension benefits.
Statement No. 3: The next time I am asked by a tourist to take his or her photograph I will frame the shot so as to crop his or her head from the final picture
I first started photographing graffiti in 1999, and in 2000 I setup a website to share my photos. Initially a mix of different subjects, but it soon became almost entirely of graffiti. I uploaded over 6000 photos to this site. Eventually Flickr came along a few years later and I started using that instead, and stopped updating the website. I shut it down completely a few years ago.
I occasionally get requests from people for photos of pieces by specific graffiti writers, and I thought it might be a good idea to upload them all to Flickr.
Most of these photos were taken on film, scanned, and saved at a small size, back in the day when people were still using 56k modems to connect to the internet and small filesizes were desirable. So apologies for the quality and size for some of these. Someday I'd like to get them all scanned in again at a higher resolution.

Artist’s statement
Over the last few years, Cape Town French school has been growing and looking for solutions to increase capacity.
The Seapoint school ground has been redesigned and transformed to meet the French school needs by the school committee and designed by architect parents of children at the school.
I captured the beauty of the opening to the children and families, on 6 Sept, as we all were curious to discover the new buildings and imagined new kinds of school we could create with them…
Then at the official ceremony, on 14 Oct, as we were all proud to invite Helen Zille to visit the building. There was beauty in the positive energy she radiates, her interest for the classrooms details, and her bonding with staff and families. The was beauty in the children singing, and the happiness of the parents community.

Seattle, and Capitol Hill in particular, has a phenomenal number of anti-Bush bumper stickers, posters, t-shirts and more. This was found on the street. I think it's a political statement of some sort.
A really elaborate black choker with a cascade in beads, spangles and different sizes of pearls falling onto your chest. This one is only for those who are ready to make a statement, are you? Be the one and only! Rather with jean and a solid t-shirt or with a strapless dress for a big party, it will always look perfect. It lifts up your outfit, your face and your spirit. Believe me!
It’s more than making a statement, this is the statement. He will take you as creative, fun, intriguing and bold, just because you are wearing a necklace like this; let him project those characteristics in you! He will love you when they get to know you anyways, right? Give him a little excuse to approach you.
This one make miracles, when everyone wonder why you look so good, little trick, you’re surrender by pearl’s sparkle. It works wonders in taking the attention, opening conversations and, why not, exchanging telephone numbers. Complete redesign of Capital One statement. The brief was to reduce the amount of paper wastage using one colour overprinting, the ultimate goal being to be able to produce a one page statement if there was minimal activity on the account. The new grid system was designed to incorporate varied amounts of messaging for the broad range of customers and also enabled the inclusion of NoDs messaging, negating the need for costly separate letters to be sent out.

On 13 November 2024, the UN Resident Coordinator in Thailand convened 59 University Presidents and their representatives under the Sustainable University Network (SUN Network) and Council of University Presidents of Thailand (CUPT), to sign the Statement of Commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals.
The Minister of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation of Thailand witnessed the signing ceremony and expressed support for the commitment made to enhance greening higher education and the outcomes of the Summit of the Future, as well as to promote the role of young people as active agents of change.
Emphasising the significant milestone made by 59 signatory universities across Thailand, the panel discussion on 'Universities for Tomorrow: Greening Higher Education' further noted the crucial role of universities in advancing the SDGs, partnerships for impact, along with the recognition of youth leadership in addressing sustainable development challenges.
The event was also attended by representatives from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand, Global Compact Network Thailand, and university-level Model UN clubs.
