On the evening of May 8th (May 9th in Russia), a group led by Benjamin Wittes projected on the facades of the Russian Ambassador's residence complex on 16th St. The Russians, who knew about this in advance, had set up to counter the projections by projecting a "Z" to cover the pro-Ukrainian projections, but with moving the projections around, the group succeeding in projecting the Ukrainian flag and some slides.
