Some oxalis in my yard. I have the one area that the grass was damaged by machinery during Hurricane Ike, oxalis filled it in. But there are these one or two odd ones in a sea of green ones.

Are they standing out or holding out against the weather? Well, daffodils are pretty cold tolerant, so I'd guess they're more standing out. It was nice to see some signs of the coming Spring after the winter had been so brutal. (Photographed at Green Lane Reservoir, Montgomery County, PA)
You don't see rose bushes trimmed like this. As opposed to singling out flowers, most try to make the bush more flush in appearance.
