...to those who cannot see with the eyes of the heart?
...to those who hate?
...to....to...to.... to all that is negative in a way - thoughts, energy, actions?
Well, I 'd say let's respond with b l e s s i n g s, for them and us, wishing that all negativity spreads away in the universe, having caused absolutely no harm...

The Smithsonian's National Postal Museum is located in the historic City Post Office Building, which served as the Washington, D.C., post office from 1914 through 1986. The Museum opened to the public in 1993 and its five galleries explore America's postal history. Its diverse collection of postage stamps include: international federally issued stamps (such as air mail, semi-postal, and official), color proofs, and essays. Postmaster provisional stamps, international reply coupons, private stamps, and stamp forgeries are also in the collection.
The processes behind the production of postal issues are illustrated by printing presses; printing and embossing dies and plates; pre-cancel plates and rollers; engraving and etching tools; and more. Adornments worn by postal employees include uniforms, service badges, flight suits, and whistles. Other items include door knockers, hand stamps, mailboxes, mailbags, metering machines, parcel post containers, patent models, posters, scales, signs, and vehicles used in delivering the mail. The gifts offered in the museum store is reflective of he documents and objects in the collection of the National Postal Museum.

I have a lot of unused commemorative stamps but they are all low value ones, with the cost of postage now I would need far too many of them to fit on an envelope.

Philately and coin collection have been my favourite hobbies when I was in school. Used to spend most of my summer vacations exchanging stamps, studying them, arranging them in my most precious stamp books, taking care of torn ones, begging the postman to let us know if there was any "foreign" mail, jumping with joy on spotting a circular/triangular/weird shaped stamp and all.
Its sad that I rarely see people buying stamps and using the post boxes, asking the postmaster if there was any new stamp in circulation, leave alone talking about stamp collection as a hobby. Maybe an ill effect, electronic mails had on them. I really miss those summer days filled with colourful stamps:(
I'm home for the summer break and was pretty happy to see my stamp collection after a loonnggg time, a collection of around 120 countries and around 3000 stamps!! Big eh?? ;p

The dining room tables invited passengers to three meals a day with white linens, fresh flowers, sterling silver, and porcelain china service created for the ship. The chief steward and up to six waiters provided superlative service.

It rained all day - the stamp collection is my rainy day project. May even finish it this year - I am about 1/3 done so far.

Penny Red Victorian British stamps.
The rich inks in these delicate scraps of old paper are as vivid as they must have been when a letter to a loved one arrived 150 years ago.
Featuring a profile of Queen Victoria, drawn when she was 15 and before she took the throne, billions of these were printed between 1841 -1879 when one penny was the standard letter rate.
The black postmarks show which post office processed the letters - can anyone tell me which town '100' signifies?
