SELLO TARIFA B DE FELIPE VI (SERIE BÁSICA)

The motif of the stamp reproduces the effigy of His Majesty Felipe VI on a background that, following the line marked in previous years, presents miniatures of the Royal Crown. The letter â€œĂ±â€ is reproduced in the lower right margin of the image, distinctive of the Spain Brand.

The Basic Series is one of the most common philatelic series in all postal operators in the world. It's fundamentally characterized by being a very extensive or unlimited series, continuous and broadcast for long periods of time. The design is repeated over the years, only changing the face value and the color.

In the states whose form of government is the monarchy, the image of the king is reproduced, while in the republics allegorical motifs or other symbols of the State such as the coat of arms or the flag are reproduced.

The portrait of King Felipe VI appeared for the first time in the Basic Series on January 19, 2015, one year after the proclamation of him as King of Spain.
