Stained Glass Window

The view of the Cathedral from the grounds of the Capitol. In HDR.

A very very large and intricate stainglass window in the Notre Dame Cathedral. I have a photo of the outside as well, which will let you get a feeling for how massive this piece really is.

Most may first see the orange cross in the center of this stain glass window, but I like to look at the rich hues of gold with deep pockets of red that trim the cross. I took this photo at the 'Masusoleum in the Pines' section of the Santa Barbara Cemetery. Depending on the time of day you visit, the colors of the window of course do change with sunlight.

This is a photograph of 'Church of All Saints'.

English 14th century Jacobean architecture.

There are twenty-five stained glass windows in the church proper and an additional six in the sacristy (the room where vestments and sacred vessels are stored). Many of them date from the late 1800s/early 1900s.
