This creative stone structure caught my eye while on a recent walk along the Spirit Trail. Rather difficult to get down low enough to get this framed view of the Vancouver skyline.
My favourite view in Jasper National Park😊

False Creek (French: Faux ruisseau) is a short inlet in the heart of Vancouver. It separates downtown from the rest of the city. It was named by George Henry Richards during his Hydrographic survey of 1856-63. While traveling along the south side of the Burrard Inlet, he thought he was traversing a creek; upon discovering his error, he gave the waterway its modern name.[False Creek].

"It's [...] a late 1951 model Chevrolet Styleline DeLuxe Series 2100 JK Model 2134 Convertible Coupé (Fisher body) with modified chrome trim elements on the lower part of the front fender, Peggy 😊😊!
She also has modified tail lights and the fuel flap (normally just above the chrome trim on the rear fender) is neatly concealed :-)"

All of these local photos, except for the "pink" snowy mountain which was taken a week ago, were all taken today. Here on the North Shore, one can ski and sail or go golfing etc. on the same day.
The Lions are a pair of pointed peaks along the North Shore
Mountains in Metro Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada [these twin summits have become one of the most recognizable Vancouver landmarks]. They can be seen from much of the Greater Vancouver area, as far as Robert Burnaby Park in East Burnaby, south to parts of Surrey, and from the west on the Howe Sound Islands and the Sunshine Coast. Deep Cove, or 'The Cove' as it is referred to by residents, faces due east and is located at the foot of Mount Seymour. Popular amongst outdoor enthusiasts, this area is close to forests, mountains, skiing, parks and the water. Approximately 5 minute drive to the charming Village of Deep Cove where you will find boutique shopping, dining, Deep Cove Little Theatre and musical performances. Rent kayaks, canoes or paddle boards at the park/beach, or hike one of the many trails close by. Deep Cove is approximately 15-20 minutes drive to Downtown Vancouver, and approximately 15 minutes drive to West Vancouver. Transit nearby.
"Our" Canadian Geese have returned and are fighting among themselves for the right to nest on our acreage. The lake is still frozen but is slowly beginning to melt.
So strange that there is no snow!
