The Gingko Biloba Tree has been around since dinosaurs walked the earth. In Asia, it is considered the symbol of longevity, peace, hope and resilience. I have always been fond of this tree, but find it difficult to photograph. The bright yellow in the fall is almost blinding.
Shot with an iPad and edited using AlienSky, Stackables and DistressedFX.

On a walk yesterday we went by a small duck pond tucked away in the heart of the city. The leaves were browning, and everything was looking a bit shabby. There was one lone lily left floating on the pond near the edge of the water. Like everything else, it had see better days.
The color tone and subtle texture were created by me using the Stackables App. I brought out the brown tones to go with that feeling of Fall approaching. #stackablesapp
