Never found far from water, the grass snake is a superb swimmer.

There wasn't much color to work with on this day so instead, I worked with what nature presented. A cloud was high on the mountain and caressing the peak. The reflection below nestled nicely in the crescent shaped ice and all together the elements formed a natural "S".

Some days I need colour!!! And today is again one of them. When it is grey outside... I do nOT mind.

I've made it even more challenging, not only because it's on black, which gives off 'negative' reflection, also here it is with lighting, reflective objects and making it all work together the way I want it, with maximum texture, and still be surprised, ALWAYS thrilled.

How can I resist, such superb colours, another photo begging to be taken.

I took this shot of Loch Ba in late afternoon in December '14. To best honest, I've not explored much of Rannoch Moor other than a few yards off the main A82 road. The light was pretty flat, but I was attracted but S-shaped composition in front of me. I've been skipping past this image for a few weeks now when considering images for processing and posting. It took me a little while to get a feeling with this image, and I do think I like it. I feel it reflects what I saw at the time, and I was happy as Larry being there.

Award-winning, off-shore and parallel-to-coast The Sea Cliff Bridge forms part of the Grand Pacific Drive and is located on scenic Lawrence Hargrave Drive, 60 kms south from central Sydney (or 23 kms north of Wollongong).

It was opened on December 11, 2005, at a total cost of A$52 million.

The Bridge features two traffic lanes, a pedestrian walkway and a cycleway access, it's entire length (665 metres) and spectacular views which is a feature of the scenic Lawrence Hargrave Drive.

The Sea Cliff Bridge is a highlight along Grand Pacific Drive and has become an icon to the people of Wollongong and around the world, welcoming tourists to this picturesque coastal road.

For 'Macro Mondays' theme of 'Eye of the Beholder'.

Decided after all that this wasn't an easy theme and probably not for me. But having spent some time this week looking at and folding newspaper I thought there must be possibilities with paper of some sort and bending and curving it in some way. So this is what happened and I caught this curved edge of an 'S' shaped piece of paper. Some difficulty in holding it in place but with the help of an elastic band ......

I did reduce colour saturation and the striations of the paper texture are still visible. Looks rather 2-D until its enlarged.

Now I can imagine this to be a landscape - what it is to have an imagination !!
