Hello friends, I'm back!
Our plan for the trip in autumn 2020 was a tour through Croatia, Montenegro an Bosnia&Herzegovina. But we had to cancel the tour because of the Corona. So we decided to drive through Germany until to the coast of Northsea.
We spent the first few days on the banks of the Rhine with the view to Loreley.

Our new Sprinter van with 4x4, low gear, 1 bed for 2 persons, small bathroom with wc and a kitchen unit. No luxury, only basics for camping everywhere. Our luxury is the 4x4 with low gear to drive on dirt roads in the alps or in the highlands of Iceland. But it is not ready, because there are still some things to do. Car wrapping, snorkel, rooflights and bigger all-terrain tires.
Quite an obscure import, unless they were sold in Turkey new. This is a Dodge Sprinter, essentially a rebadged Mercedes, as far as I know they were only sold with Dodge badges in North America. It has Mercedes wheel trims, but they look like they're from a much older bus
Weirdly this wasn't the only rebadged and imported Sprinter I saw in Istanbul, on the way to the hotel from the airport I saw a Freightliner badged Sprinter presumably also an American import.
