When out looking for subjects sometimes they just pop up. This rolling sprinkler was as long as a football field and I wanted to capture it from a different perspective. Perhaps this is what a drop of water might see as it falls from its perch.

I deleted the photo I uploaded this morning because I discovered it was blurry. Ugly blurry :-(

There are three categories of islands, it is believed.

1, Base: Where a number of humans live off the natural resources, migrating to newer islands when it is close to destruction.

2, Dummy: Where man has tried to recreate natures' beauty by replanting trees, replenishing beaches and controlling pollution to an extent. Build, and sell off at the highest possible price. (Widely advertised: Prices range from US$ 200 - US$ 2,000 a night. I find these, the most ugly and boring of the three.)

There is a mad race to develop as many, within the shortest period of time!

Fact: The moment man steps on an island, it starts to wither away and die.

And 3: Virgin. Virgin because of difficulty in accessibilty or awkwardness of leasing process within the political beurocracy. There is a fierce fight as to who gets what.

There are no known or drawn plans, nor set targets.

There is good news. There are still a few Hundred of these that are yet 'undiscovered' by man. Ok then.

But wait, how long does this bit of goodness last?

------------------

Recently though, a climate process called Global Warming has begun..., which, if predicted right, will wash away all of these islands within our current life time.

These fittings on the external facade of the glassy Optus building turned out to be sprinklers when I zoomed in on them. I had thought they were lights.

this image was taken two years ago on this day. I came home from a walk and my husband had put the sprinkler on and I saw some magic :)

White hoses and sprinklers stored along the side of the bowling green in the foreground, with white metal chairs at the next bowling green in the background. Found at the Underdale Bowling Club.

So its pretty hot here right now. I put on the sprinkler and Daisy had the best fun in the Sun, she chases the water plumes and droplets, it's hilarious to watch and if your wondering.... yes that's an adult size Space Hopper... and yes, its mine... I bounce around the garden like a big kid at the age of 51, Hubby and Son were boyh lost for words when I bought this the other day and started bouncing about, don't think I've seen them laugh so much and as for Daisy, she likes to chase me on it... its our new fun game. But... ladies if you want one you must invest in a good bra.... that's all I'm gonna say on that....hahahahahaha
