some not very good shots of our barn owls,these have nested here for 3 years now, hope this year is better than last year it was so wet i dont think they raised any chicks,but this pair are bringing in a mouse every 5 minutes or so .been a good year for this old ash one succesfull great tit brood ( in nest box ) and a pai of Jackdaws nesting in a hole below the owls,

Went for a local patch wander today, heard a lot of agitated buzzing as I went along the edge of the field, looked up and could see masses of bees. Stood and watched for quite a while as they swarmed and then settled into a great big ball of bees up in the spruce tree.

A bit of a first as have never seen a Bee swarm before!
