This is Pensthorpe near Fakenham. It is used by BBC Springwatch. They have various different bird species here.

It was the Winner of Best Norfolk Attraction 2009.

Was a few days after the flight ban was lifted in April. Here is some more plane trails, but from Pensthorpe.

This is a re-edit of an image taken about this time two years ago in a car park by Stodmarsh NNR. I have re-posted because of Monday's Springwatch article about moles.

Every night that Springwatch has been on, this hedgehog has turned up.

One poor chick that didn't make it, must of got pushed out of the nest and landed on our garden table.

I have just discovered, by reading the RSPB Rye Meads blog, that my picture of Alice the Fox appeared on the BBC's Springwatch last Thursday. It was in the 'Springwatch Unsprung' programme and featured in a segment about costume design inspired by wild life. Can you believe that my wife watched this programme and never noticed my name appearing!!

The original image is here.

A few from the archives... of which there seem to be rather a lot of!!
